William O. Fountain

William O. Fountain, 64, of 3555 Sunrise Drive, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 2:00PM at Swift Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Leland Collins officiating. The family will greet friends on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Mr. Fountain was a graduate of Mercer University. A veteran of the United States Marines, he served in Viet Nam where he earned the Navy Cross for Valor. Mr. Fountain enjoyed the outdoors and reading. He was a member of Swift Creek United Methodist Church. Mr. Fountain is survived by his sister, Melinda Dale Williams of Centerville, Georgia; brothers, Larry McKinley Fountain of Macon and Donnie C. Fountain (Anne) of Orlando, Florida; nieces and nephews, Brian Williams, Denys J. Flores, Michael McKinley Fountain and Andrew Kyle Fountain; great-niece, Lily Anna Flores.
