William Frank Edwards

William Frank Edwards, 88, of Macon, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Hart’s Mortuary Cherry Street Chapel at 2:00PM.  Burial will follow the service at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens.  The family will greet friends Monday, February 7, 2022, at Hart’s Mortuary from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

Mr. Edwards was born in Cuthbert, Georgia.  He worked as a dairyman for forty years and was a loving father of ten children. He enjoyed being outdoors with his dogs and had a great sense of humor.

Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his wife of thirty years, Helen Edwards; and children Martha Edwards, Margaret Steele, Ann Edwards, and William “Bubba” Edwards.  He is survived by his children, Patsy Chitwood (Mike), James Edwards (Adeline), Jack Edwards (Christy), Robert Edwards (Sherri), Peggy Clements (Darrell), and Melinda Elsasser (Lance); seventeen grandchildren, David, Jessie, and Becky Chitwood, Brittany Edwards, Russell Steele, Jack, Jr., Rebecca, Jessie, Andrew, and Sarah Edwards, R.J. and Clayton Edwards, Codie and Darrell, Jr., Clements, Hannah Kemp, Kaylee and Brianna Thornton, and Gracie Elsasser; and nine great-grandchildren.
