William "Bill" E. Lawson, Jr.

William E. "Bill" Lawson, 74, of Monroe County, Georgia died Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with Pastor Craig Walden officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends on Friday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Rock Springs Church, Attn: Macon Campus, 219 Rock Springs Road, Milner, GA 30257. Mr. Lawson was a volunteer fireman for Monroe County for more than thirty years. He enjoyed farming, the outdoors and his family. Mr. Lawson is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Jackie Lawson of Monroe County; sons, Barry Lawson (Lisa) of Monroe County, Greg Lawson of Monroe County, Chris Lawson (Karen) of Miami, Florida and Jay Lawson of Monroe County; grandchildren, Brandon Lawson, Olivia Lawson and Christopher Lawson.
