William Christopher “Chris” Moore

William Christopher “Chris” Moore, 58, of Jones County, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 at his home surrounded by family.   The family will greet friends and family from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Bridges of Hope & Restoration Church. The church is located at 404 Big Oak Rd. Macon, GA. Interment will follow at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.

Chris is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rhonda Moore of Jones County; children, Christopher Trey Moore (Autumn) and Kristy Faulk (Daniel), both of Jones County; grandchildren, Rylie, Caden, and Avery Faulk; brothers, Frank Moore (Pam) and Ricky Moore (Sherry) both of Jones County; beloved niece, Rhonda Smallwood (Mike) of Jones County; great nephews, Gage and Reid Smallwood; and loyal pup, Biskit.

Chris was the proud owner and operator of Chris Moore Roofing, which will be passed on to his son, Trey Moore. Chris was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family and spent his evenings and weekends watching his grandkids compete in sports. He never missed a game whether it was football, baseball, softball or soccer. He has always been their biggest fans. He loved gathering with his family for dinners, beach vacations, fishing trips, UGA football, UFC fights and much more.

Chris and Rhonda met in 1978 and have been together ever since. Chris took pride in spoiling Rhonda in any way he could. He loved taking her on trips, doing the laundry and even cooking for her, but most of all, he loved the life they had built with their children and grandchildren.

Chris was a member of Bridges of Hope and Restoration Church in Twiggs County. He helped build the church from the ground up and was a faithful member.  His contributions to the Kingdom of God were many and we know he laid up many treasures in heaven.
