William Zellner "Billy" Avant

William Zellner "Billy" Avant died July 9, 2016 after a lengthy illness. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Monday, July 11, 2016, at 2:00PM. Billy was born May 15, 1936 to parents Gladys Hollomon Avant and Leon Earl Avant, Sr. He was a member of St. Paul's, where he enjoyed fellowship with everyone and especially the men's breakfast group. He was well known and loved by many in Macon. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Buck Avant and Charlie Avant. He is survived by his loving companion, Susan Schanzer; sister-in-law, JoAnn Avant; nephews: Harry and Larry Avant and Jeff Avant.
