William (Bill) Andrew Whitehouse, age 91, born May 16, 1922, passed away Tuesday, March 18th, 2014. Bill and his wife, Mary, resided in Macon, GA for more than 50 years. After Mary's passing in 2003, he moved to Loganville, GA.
Bill served in the Pacific theater during World War II with the U.S. Army Signal Corps; upon his honorable discharge at the end of the war, he was employed as a government civilian employee for the U.S. Air Force at Robins AFB until his retirement. In addition, Bill played the organ at Lynnmore Methodist Church for 20 years.
He was the proud father of three sons David, Glenn, and Thomas and was a loving grandfather to his 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 21st, from 6pm to 8pm at Hart's Mortuary, 6324 Peake Rd., Macon, GA. Services will be held at Hart's at the Cupola at 6324 Peake Rd., Macon, GA., Saturday, March 22nd at 2pm followed by grave side services at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, 3969 Mercer University Dr., Macon, GA.
