William Benton

William Benton, 64, of Jones County, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Benton Family Cemetery in Twiggs County. The Reverend Eddie Benton will be officiating. Mr. Benton was a graduate of Jones County High School. He was an equipment operator for Benton Brothers Construction. Mr. Benton is survived by his daughter, Tricia Vickery (Brad) of Jeffersonville, Georgia; son, William Charles Benton of Twiggs County; seven grandchildren; mother, Irene Brown Benton of Jones County; two brothers, Charles Frank Benton, Jr. and Joe Allen Benton (Melza), both of Jones County; sister, Patricia A. Stern (George) of Jones County; and aunts and uncles, Irene Hull, Paul Benton, Eddie Benton (Joyce), and Lillie Earl (Wayne). Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, has charge of arrangements.

Take a right on exit 18 from I-16. Cross over railroad tracks and take first right. Cemetery at the end of the road.
