Wilbur Riley Soles

Wilbur Riley Soles, 75, of 125 Grove Lane, Kathleen, Georgia, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Services will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends on Saturday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. Mr. Soles was an avid NASCAR fan. His favorite drivers were Kyle Busch and Bill Elliott. Mr. Soles loved visiting Daytona Beach, Florida. He was the son of the late Jessie Soles and the late Annie Haligan Soles and was predeceased by his daughter, Kathy Soles Heath, his grandchild, Kyle Heath; great-grandchild, Katie Beth Shephard and twelve brothers and sisters. Mr. Soles is survived by his wife, Alma Soles of Kathleen, Georgia; children, Missy Lucas (Luke) of Byron, Georgia and Wilbur "Wil" Soles, Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Kristy Wimberly, Kelsi Lucas, Kelbi Lucas, Kolbi Lucas, and Kodi Lucas; great-grandchild, Kyle Wimberly; sisters, Eulene Soles Bacon of Jacksonville, Florida and Margie Bellflower of Vidalia, Georgia.
