Wesley Randall Daniel

Wesley Randall Daniel passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM at New Heights Baptist Church with the Reverends Stephen N. Johnson and Len Strozier officiating. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service with burial following at Macon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Heights Baptist Church, 158 Lamar Road, Macon, GA 31220. Mr. Daniel was born at home on a farm on Snow Hill Baptist Church Road in Laurens County on May 4, 1938. Mr. Daniel was an active member of Cherokee Heights Baptist Church now New Heights Baptist Church. He faithfully served the church as a Deacon, Chairman of Deacons, Sunday School Superintendent, Chairman of Trustees, Chairman of Personal Committee and Member of the Finance Committee. He was a long-time store manager for Piggly Wiggly. Mr. Daniel is predeceased by his son, Derick Daniel. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Ellen Daniel; daughter, Dee Tidwell (Tim) of Macon, Georgia; son, Casey Daniel (Kris) of Macon, Georgia, daughter-in-law, Fran Daniel of Macon, Georgia; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and brother, Bennie Daniel (Regina) of Rentz, Georgia.
