Wendell Lee Bass passed away on June 11, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 7:00PM with the visitation at 6:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA. The Reverend Johnny McGowan will be officiating. Wendell loved working on cars and motorcycles. Wendell is survived by his sons, Chris Bass Etheridge (Tory) of Gray, GA and Josh Bass Etheridge of Gray, GA; 4 grandchildren; mother Elizabeth Davis (Felton) of Milledgeville, GA; sister, Amy Thomas (Eddie) of Macon, GA; stepfather, Ben Joyner (Helen) of Gray, GA; niece, Stephanie Lumley of Macon, GA; nephew, James Lumley (Amber) of Haddock, GA; great niece, Kensleigh Morgan of Macon, GA; great nephew, Kason Lumley of Haddock, GA; and several cousins.
