Wayne Montgomery

Wayne William Montgomery Jr. passed away, Saturday November 11, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 14,2017 at Hart's Mortuary, Chapel at the Cupola at 2:00PM with the Reverend Mike Davis officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the Funeral home. Mr. Montgomery attended Mount De Sales Academy and Middle Georgia College. Mr. Montgomery had many great passions in his life. One, he loved the sport of boxing; whether it be boxing as a youth or later training young aspiring boxers. Two, he had a deep passion for Persian rugs. This passion he transformed into his business Montgomery Rugs. Three, he loved fishing and making lures that actually caught fish. Mr. Montgomery is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Waits Montgomery of Macon; two sons, Wayne William Montgomery III of Nashville, Georgia, and Clayton Hudson Montgomery (Suzanne) of Valdosta, Georgia; four grandchildren, William Dallas Montgomery, Elijah Parker Montgomery, Miller Starling Hollis, and Harriette Hudson Montgomery; brothers Michael Montgomery (Kathy) of Dacula, Georgia, and Shawn Montgomery (April) of Macon.
