Warren Daniel "Dan" Gary, Jr., 55, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 3:30PM at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Macon, Georgia. Family will greet friends following the service at the church. Dan was born in Nashville, Tennessee February 27, 1960. The son of Glenda Hayes Gary and the late Warren Daniel Gary, Sr. He graduated from University of Tennessee. He retired from the Georgia Forestry Commission after 29 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked for the Middle Georgia Regional Commission. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Deede Griffin Gary of Macon; three children, Kayla Hurd of Faulkville, Georgia, Jarod Hurd and Zach Gary both of Macon; granddaughter, Issabella Lemanski of Faulkville; mother, Glenda Hayes Gary of Beaufort, South Carolina; stepmother, Carolyn Kennedy Gary of Augusta; brother, Hayes (Lisa) Gary of North Augusta, South Carolina; sister, Kate Gary of Augusta; and 3 loving sisters-in-law.
