Wanda Jones

Wanda Jones, of Haddock, passed away July 20, 2018. Funeral services will be held at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM. The family will greet friends on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel. Burial will take place at Haddock Baptist Church Cemetery.

In recent years, Wanda was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Prior to that, she was in the banking and healthcare fields. She was a member of the Humane Society and had two Chihuahuas, Kasey and Sugar, that she loved dearly.

Wanda was predeceased by her father, Forrest Bentley, Sr.; mother, Laverne Hawthorne Bentley and brother, Forrest Bentley, Jr.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ed Jones; son, Brad DuPree of Haddock; sister-in-law, Claudette Atchison (Don) of Haddock; grandchildren, Ashley Roberson (Roy) of Gray, Keith DuPree of Macon, Dylan DuPree (Helen) and Nick DuPree of Haddock; great grandchild, Maddox Roberson; nephew, Chris Bentley (Melissa) of Warner Robins; and great nieces, Amelia and Abigail Bentley
