Walter “W.L.” Lanoid Davis passed away on June 20, 2018. Funeral services will be private.

Lanoid retired as Superintendent of Operations at Plant Branch, GA Power, in Milledgeville, Georgia. He loved his family, his work, and racing.

Lanoid was predeceased by his brother, Neil Davis.

Lanoid is survived by his wife, Sylvia Davis; daughter, Tina Comer; granddaughters, Jamie Ferrell (Aaron) of Cumming, Georgia and Jessica Dykes (Devon) of Gray, Georgia; great-grandchildren, John William Dykes, Chase Dykes, Abigail Ferrell, and Ansley Ferrell; sister, Patsy Beck; and brother, Kenneth Davis.
