Walter Denswell "Denny" Fox

Walter Denswell "Denny" Fox, born September 20, 1938 in Irwin County, Georgia. The son of John Joseph Fox and Bessie Arnold Fox. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 1:00PM, in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends on Friday, August 29, 2014, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, at the Cupola. Graduated from Tifton High School and attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC). Predeceased by Brother, Joseph L. Fox of Tifton, Sisters, Floye Yates Harris of Macon and Catherine Craven of Tallahassee, Florida. Retired from Bellsouth (AT&T) in 1989 as Marketing Manager in Atlanta, after thirty two years of service. A humanitarian, Mr. Fox was a member of the TELCOM Pioneers and Christ Episcopal Church. Throughout life, he loved the outdoors and wildlife. He was a member of the Ocmulgee Audubon Society as well as the National Organization. He was an active member of the Heritage Foundation. Survivors include: Wife, Frances Robertson Fox; Son, Mark Fox; Daughter, Marcia Fox; Son, Rodney Fox; Grandchildren, Victoria Fox.
