Vivian Babb Hammonds

Vivian Babb Hammonds, 98, of Macon, died Wednesday, November 18, 2020.  A graveside service will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery with the Reverend Joe McDaniel officiating.

Formerly of Sylvian Drive and daughter of the late Charles H. and Virley Hambrick Babb, Mrs. Hammonds was a long-time member of Mabel White Baptist Church and a former member of the Federated Garden Club.  She loved word puzzles books.  Mrs. Hammonds was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Randall “H.R.” Hammonds and daughter, Randie Hammonds Ray.

Mrs. Hammonds is survived by her dear friends, Linda Ray and Jim Smith of Macon; grandson, Dylan Andrew Ray of Macon; close friends, Rudell and James McCree and Grace Reeves, both of Macon; and son-in-law, Donald Ray of Macon.
