Virginia Elizabeth "Libby" Gibbs Abel

Macon-Virginia Elizabeth "Libby" Gibbs Abel, age 88; passed away in Albany Ga., where she had resided for the past 5 years. She was born in Mobile, Ala., but had lived in Macon since1938.A graduate of Mount DeSales High School, she was an active worker in Cherokee Heights Baptist church in her younger days, and was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. She was the widow of A.K. "Pete" Abel. Survivors include Joyce Parrott of Americus & Jenny Folds of Albany; 4 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.
