Virginia Taylor Jimerson Lupa

Virginia Taylor Jimerson Lupa died on Monday, October 12, 2015. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Taylor Gordon and Joseph Linzey Taylor. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base and a part-time employee of Jones, Cork, and Miller law firm. She was a member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church. Her husband, Colonel Henry J. Lupa, brother, Richard L. Taylor, and son, Timothy Wayne Jimerson, preceded her in death. Survivors include three granddaughters, Kelli Jimerson Helsom and husband, Josh, of Anytown, USA, Stacy Jimerson of Charleston, South Carolina, and Jenna Jimerson of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Donald Sherwood of Greensboro, North Carolina; sisters, Barbara Smith and husband, Ken, of The Villages, Florida, Frances Harvell of Greensboro, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Carolina Taylor of Mount Airy, North Carolina; one great-grandson Jackson Helsom, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 2:00PM at Teamon Baptist Church Cemetery in Griffin, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.
