Victor James Simmons

Victor James Simmons, of Macon, passed away July 5, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at 2:30PM, at Bass United Methodist Church. The Reverend Rex Odom will officiate. Burial will follow in Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Heart of GA Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31025. Mr. Simmons was a member of Bass/Heritage United Methodist Church. He loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter and tennis player.

Mr. Simmons was preceded in death by his son, Lance V. Simmons.

Survivors include his wife, Wileane Simmons; daughter, Laura Simmons; grandchildren, Brittany (Hugh) Hermes and Ashlyn Rover; great grandchildren, Lawton Hermes, Declan Hermes, and Luca Hermes.
