Verne Alfred Mosely

Lord Verne Alfred Mosely of Athens, Georgia left this plane of being July 9th 2014 at the age of 35. Verne is survived by his wife Katherine English; his brothers Andrew, Charlie & Robert Mosely; his sister Tiffany Kuhlow; his father Jim Mosely; and his mother-in-law Donna English. Verne was preceded in death by his mother Claire Stepnosky Mosely. Verne was born in Opelika, AL. His mother moved to Warner Robbins, GA where she routinely carried five-year-old Verne on her bike to college classes, which he quietly attended with her. Claire married Jim Mosely and had three sons whom Verne happily helped raise. He graduated from Central High School while also earning his International Baccalaureate Diploma at the age of 17 and enrolled in Macon State College. During young adulthood, he managed a RadioShack and a Staples and threw the most epic parties ever. In 2005, he married his best friend Katherine English. Verne graduated from MGC in 2006 as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant and went on to earn his Masters in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University in 2012. The reality of Verne's life was greater than any story I could tell. He helped people regain their independence during the hardest times of their lives. Verne was a compassionate healer who often worked late hours, going beyond expectations and using his own funds to better his clients' therapy and lives. He enjoyed working in acute care and nursing homes, settings most professionals avoid, but Verne wanted to work with the hardest cases so that he could do the most good. Verne believed in helping others to achieve their chosen lives in a fulfilling way. Verne was loved. Above everything, he was a kind gentle person who used his intelligence to help others.
