Vee Davis Donahue

Eatonton, GA- Vee Davis Donahue, 88, of 292 Possum Point Drive, died Sunday, July 19, 2009. Services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 10:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with Father Justin Ferguson officiating. Burial will be at 4:00PM at Jesup City Cemetery, Jesup, GA. A Rosary will be said at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:00PM followed by visitation until 8:00PM. Mrs. Donahue was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was retired from Murphey, Taylor and Ellis after forty years of service. Mrs. Donahue was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Joseph Donahue, and by two sons, Michael and John Donahue. Mrs. Donahue is survived by her daughter, Janet D. Brown of Macon; son, Terry Donahue (Rebecca) of Eatonton; grandchildren, Chad Brown (Amy) and Scott Brown (Rebecca), both of Macon, Kathrine Donahue and Jordan Donahue, both of Eatonton; great-grandchildren, Taylor, McKenna, Dylan, Katelyn, Erin and Sophie Brown; brothers, Earl (Martha), Harry, Jack and Ken (Priscilla) Davis; sister, Barbara Roberts.
