Vance Donaldson

Vance Donaldson, 81, of Macon, passed away November 20, 2017. Services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, November 27, 2017 at Hart's at the Cupola 6324 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210 with Reverend Robert McDaniel officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. Family will greet friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 PM Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Hart's at the Cupola. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. Mr. Donaldson was a veteran of the United States Air Force and past president of Jones County Lion's Club. He was well known as a square dance caller and he enjoyed repairing small engines and gardening. Mr. Donaldson was the owner of Vance's TBA Auto Shop in Jones County. He was predeceased by two grandchildren, Leisha Brooke and Amanda Noel and four siblings, John Donaldson, Delores Whitten, Jane Helm and Bobby Donaldson. He was the widower of Lou W. Donaldson. Mr. Donaldson is survived by his; children, Marvin Donaldson of El Paso, TX, Rhonda Nequette (Tom) of Macon, Julie Donaldson Maier of Macon, Stacy Aultman (Claude) of Macon, Daniel Martin of Macon, and Louwana Donaldson Wedmann of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Maya, Mckenna, Matthew, Madison, Morgan, Avery and Ashli; great-grandchild, Davin; siblings, Bill Donaldson (Kay), Mae Morse (Roland), Diana Odneal (Duane), Wally Donaldson, and Colie Donaldson (Beth).
