Valerie Rose Martin, 77, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014. Funeral services will be private. Mrs. Martin was the widow of Boyd Lynwood Martin. She was also predeceased by her parents, George William Knapp and Nellie Roberts Knapp; and son, Boyd Lynwood Martin, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Martin of Macon; son, Bill Martin of Macon; daughter, Debbie Hammel of Macon; seven grandchildren, Michael Tudor, Mark Tudor, Ashley Martin, Emily Martin, Travis Martin, Bobby Hammel (Alicia) and Matthew Hammel; and sister, Sylvia Hoper of Australia.
