Troy "Boo" Shelton Ashley, Jr.

Troy Shelton Ashley, Jr. passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017. Funeral services will be held at Union Chapel Evangelistic Church on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 2:00PM with the Reverend William Lowe officiating and burial following at Jim Wood Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Hart's Mortuary downtown on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Troy is predeceased by his father, Troy Shelton Ashley, Sr. Troy was a 1985 graduate of Southwest High School. He was a retired maintenance supervisor of Carlyle Place. He loved spending time with his daughter, Caitlin and his family. He also loved fishing, mud riding and monster trucks. Troy is survived by his daughter, Caitlin Ashley of Macon; mother, Myrtie Ashley of Macon, GA; sisters, Michelle Ashley of Macon, Melody Hartley (Ted) of Statesboro and Melinda Rooney (Vince) of Byron; brother, Tony Ashley (Tara) of Macon; many nieces and nephews.
