Tommie Jean Berretta

Tommie Jean Berretta passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11:00AM at the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street. A Rosary will be held Wednesday at 7:00PM at Hart's on Cherry Street. The family will greet friends following the rosary. Tommie Jean was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Macon, Georgia. She worked for Dixie and Consolidated Distributing and then went on to retire from the Medical Center of Central Georgia with 30 years of service. Tommie Jean enjoyed sewing, traveling, and the arts. She was the daughter of Elmer and Leila Griffin. Tommie Jean was predeceased by her sister, Louise Griffin King. Tommie Jean is survived by her son, Oscar "Rocky" Ferrara (Brenda) of Macon; daughter, Veronica Berretta Morgan of Macon; five grandchildren, Amanda Guay (Chad) of Cumming, Georgia, Matthew Griffin Morgan of Macon, Keaton English Morgan of Macon, Clifford Leon Wilson IV of Macon, and Gavin Patrick Wilson of Macon; brother, William "Buddy" Griffin of Alabama; and four great-grandchildren.
