Timothy Wayne Thomas

Timothy Wayne Thomas passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on January 17, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Elam Baptist Church in Gray, Georgia, at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Gary Thomas officiating. The burial will follow at Big Sandy Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwinton, Georgia, at 3:45 P.M. The family will greet friends at Harts Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, on Saturday, January 19, 2019, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.

Tim was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved playing softball, and was a self-proclaimed “grill master."

Tim was predeceased by his mother, Claudia Walker Thomas and his brother, John Thomas.

Tim’s memory is carried on by his wife, Angel Frazier Thomas of Gray; his daughter, Morgan Thomas; son Kyle Thomas; father, John Ray Thomas Jr (Tammy); brother, Will Mizell (Ashley); his mentor Steve Johns- Hamlin (Andy); and numerous relatives and friends.
