Timothy E. “Fish” Fowler, 72, of Gray, Georgia, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Hart’s Mortuary Jones County Chapel, with Reverend John Haney officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
Son of the late Robert Earl and Sybil Elton Fowler, Timothy was born on September 11, 1953, in Sandersville, Georgia, but established residence in Clinton, Georgia for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed many things in life, especially in his line of work in forestry, running heavy machinery and timber pioneering. He took solace in the trees. Tim was an outdoor enthusiast and took pride in teaching others to be good stewards of the land, instilling the love for outdoors into all of those whose path he crossed. In his younger years, he thrived on adrenaline, was a friend to many, and could be found by the sound of his laughter from across the room. He later met his wife and together they raised four beautiful daughters.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Fowler; daughters: Heather “Pete” Fowler Collins, Annabel Fowler (Kyung Min), Chloe Fowler (Dalton Daniel), and Mary Peyton Berry (Derek); grandson, Nathan Collins; and sisters, Elaine Prince and Lynda Stamm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Jones County Animal Services.
