Tim Meadows passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, in Macon, Georgia. Tim was born December 28, 1950, to Dan and Rachel Meadows in Hawkinsville, Georgia. He graduated from LaGrange High School in 1969 and The University of Georgia in 1973 with a degree in History Education. Tim spent his time in Athens, Georgia with his college sweetheart, Carmen Meadows, and they were married in 1971 at First Baptist Church in Jesup, Georgia. He worked the next 35 years as an Insurance Claims Adjuster.

Tim was a loyal Dawg fan who attended countless games including the 1981 Sugar Bowl and 2023 National Title game in L.A. He would love to be remembered as a “Damn Good Dawg.”

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carmen; his sons, Daniel and Matthew (Carmen); grandchildren, James, Jack, Millie and Cash; brothers, Ray and Howard; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jeff.

A memorial service and celebration of Tim’s life will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in the chapel of Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street.
