Macon- Thurman "Bugsy" Hathaway, Jr., passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 29, 2010, at 2:00PM, in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 28, 2010, from 2:00PM until 4:00PM, at Hart's on Cherry Street. Mr. Hathaway was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He also worked in law enforcement for many years, working with the City of Macon Police Department and the Glynn County Sheriffs Department. Survivors: Spouse, Janice Hathaway Stokes of Macon; Daughter, Derelynn Pendergrass of Dublin; Son, Thurman Hathaway, III of Cochran; Son, William Paul (Trina) Hathaway of Gray; Brother, Hermon Hathaway of Macon; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
