Thomas Lewis Wilson, Jr., 92, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Monday, August 28, 2017 at The Shield Church, 2499 Firetower Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29730 with the Reverends Richard D. Collins and Larry Soles officiating. Private burial will be at Flint Hill Baptist Cemetery in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Donations may be made to Georgia Assemblies of God, c/o Special Touch Ministries, P. O. Box 28470, Macon, GA 31221. Founder and operator of Shepherd's Fold, Inc., Mr. Wilson was a graduate of Rock Hill High School, Mars Hill Junior College, and the University of South Carolina. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII. He then spent the rest of his military career in the U.S. Navy Reserve, retiring as a lieutenant. Mr. Wilson was a former member of Shield of Faith Church in Rock Hill, SC and was currently a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God in Columbus, Georgia. He was predeceased by his brother, Dr. Roswell C. Wilson. Mr. Wilson is survived by his daughters, Ann Wilson Freeman (Randall) of Lexington, South Carolina, Jane Wilson Collins (Rev. Richard) of Macon; grandchildren, John David Williams (Petruta) of Elgin, South Carolina, Stephen Brent Collins (Jade) of Sanford, Florida, Grant Wilson Collins (Krissy) of Columbus, Georgia, Evan Marc Collins (Joanna) of Columbus, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Andrew, and Evan Williams and Alexa, Aidan, Lily, Lucia, and Norah Collins.
