It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Calnan Sylverne on January 14, 2025, at the age of 71. Tom passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved wife, Lisa Bolton Sylverne, who stood by his side until the very end. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him.

Tom was a devoted husband, friend, and father. He was known for his unending love for those close to him, his sense of service, and his passion for life. His warmth and compassion touched the lives of many while serving in the Avon Volunteer Fire Department. He will always be remembered for his hearty laugh that could fill any room with joy and his infectious spirit.

Throughout his life, Tom was always there to help others. He would go out of his way to lend a hand, offering support and care wherever it was needed. His legacy of family, kindness, and service will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; his brothers, David Harford (Marge) and Chip Sylverne (Lora); his daughter, Rory Nordberg (Greg); his son, Tqe Sylverne (Karyn); his stepson, Ryan Bolton; five cherished grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and countless friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
