Thomas Paul Mullaney, 83, of 147 Berkley Drive, died Friday, January 1, 2010 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at St.Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Allan McDonald and Monsignor John Cuddy officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. The Rosary will be held at 7:00PM Monday at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. The family may be contacted at the residence. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 830 Poplar St., Macon, GA 31201. Mr. Mullaney was born October 13, 1926 in Youngstown, Ohio to James and Bridget Mullaney. He graduated from the University of Dayton in 1951. He was a resident of Macon since 1955 and retired from Robins Air Force Base as branch manager of logistics with 39 years of service in June 1989. Mr. Mullaney was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where he served as president of the Home and School Association and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and the Parish Council. He was a past area governor of Toastmasters' International and member of NARFE. Mr. Mullaney is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Mullaney of Macon; three sons, Jim Mullaney (Hwa)of Bonaire, Mike Mullaney of Bonaire, and Kevin Mullaney (Kimberly) of Chesapeake, VA; two daughters, Bridget Mullaney of Bonaire, and Abbey Patterson (Abe) of Atlanta; five grandchildren, Maxey Patterson, Jean Mullaney, Kyle Mullaney, Avery Mullaney, and Alex Mullaney; sister, Rita Moran of Youngstown, OH; brother, Robert Glenn of Texas; and foster brothers, Rev.
