Thomas "Tommy" Edward Boyer

Thomas Edward “Tommy” Boyer passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018. Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2:00PM at Hart’s Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210, with Dr. Robert King officiating. Tommy always wanted to have a party following the service, so please participate with the family in a pot luck dinner following the service. Please dress casually.

Tommy is predeceased by his parents, Joseph Estes Boyer and Leler Pearl Sides Boyer; two brothers, Wayne Boyer and Kenneth Boyer; sister, Lanelle Thompson; and grandson, Matthew Wilson.

Tommy was a veteran of the Alabama National Guard and United States Army. He loved fishing, playing the lottery, and spending time with his family. Tommy will be greatly missed by his loving family.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Jill Heath Boyer of Dublin, Georgia; two sons, Thomas Boyer, Jr. of Austin, Texas and Terry Johnson (Stacy) of Macon; daughter, J.J. Potts of Dublin; five grandchildren: Jamie Potts, Hunter Peterman, Jeremy Swanson, Tori Johnson, and Taylor Johnson; great grandchild, Jessa Peterman; brothers and sisters, Jimmy Boyer (Helen), June Lyon, Raymond Boyer, Kaye Markert (Ed), Deborah King (Robert) Mickey Boyer (Jane), Gary Boyer, and Felicia Giles (Ronald); many loved nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Rebel.
