Thomas Christopher Anthony, 42, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at The Hummingbird, 430 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia. Minors are welcome to attend the service until 6:00 p.m.

Thomas was born in DuBois, Pennsylvania, on November 10, 1983. He was a graduate of Jones County High School and the University of Georgia, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in English.

Thomas was a thoughtful, creative soul with a love for many things. He worked as a pastry chef at Hotel 45, where he was able to share his passion for cooking and creativity with others. He had a deep love of writing and literature and was an avid reader. He was also passionate about music and enjoyed playing the guitar. In his free time, he loved video games and was a devoted Georgia Bulldogs football fan.

Thomas leaves behind memories that will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He is survived by his father, John Amon Anthony, Jr. of Macon; mother, Melanie Shelton (Bryant) of Macon; brother, Justin Patrick Anthony (Kayla Descha Anthony) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; sister, Shelby Rae Lamon (Matthew) of Jones County; nephew, John Patrick Anthony of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
