Thomas Wayne Brooks

Thomas Wayne Brooks, 42, of Macon, Georgia died Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 3:00PM at New Elam Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Marty Watson will officiate. The family will greet friends at the church on Saturday from 2:00PM until 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Avondale Baptist Church, 6970 Cochran Field Road, Macon, Georgia 31216 or to Critical Care for Animal Angels, P. O. Box 972, Byron, Georgia 31008. Mr. Brooks is survived by his father, Doug Brooks (Caroline); mother, Billie Ann Brooks; sister, Karen Sutherland (Chad); son, Kyle Brooks (Maggie); nephew, Austin Sutherland. Mr. Brooks was a graduate of Southeast High School. He was an electrician. Mr. Brooks was an avid water skier and spent his Little League baseball career playing at Western Little League. He loved all of his dogs, especially Stormie. His pastime was reading with history being his favorite subject. He loved his son with all of his heart and would want him to remember that.
