Terry Neal Nation

Terry Neal Nation, 73, of Jones County, Georgia, passed away, Saturday, July 11, 2026. Services will be private.

Terry was born August 30, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Paul Nation and the late Ruby Haynes Nation. After high school, Terry began working for Oklahoma Drilling, then Kandu Drilling Company, traveling the United States working as a pier hole driller for his entire career. Terry’s work ethic earned the respect of his coworkers. Terry enjoyed laughing, playing practical jokes, and aggravating Paula. When not working, his passion was woodworking, and he never missed a chance to go fishing.

Terry is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Paula Nation. Son, Jeremy Nation and wife April of Erick, OK. Daughter, Lori Morris and husband Rodney of Dibble, OK. Son, Chad Willis and wife Misty of Jones County, GA. Son, Brandon “Scooter” Tucker and wife Jennifer of Jones County, GA. Grandchildren, Shayla Morris, Cody Rock, Hunter Havis, Desirae Willis, Eric Willis Jr, MaKayla Havis, Mylee Willis, Kaylee Tucker, Landon Tucker, Mila Tucker, Mikera Morris and husband Landon Wheelock, Montanna Morris and Hunter Hamby Great grandchildren, Arianna Willis and Bridger Rock. Brothers, Larry Nation and wife Merry and Bill Nation and wife Cathy. His canine companion Leonard and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Wayne Nation.
