Ted R. Senters, 80, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2014, following a battle with renal cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Monday, November 3, 2014 at Vineville United Methodist Church with Dr. Jimmy R. Asbell, Jr. officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 until 5:00 PM at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. The family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon, GA 31201; www.cancer.org. Mr. Senters is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ann Senters, his children and grand-children: Kim Senters Fehr and her husband, Pete Fehr, and children John Ryan and Kate of Macon, Pam Senters Sawyer and her husband, John Sawyer, and children William, Anna and Owen of Colorado Springs, and son, Tim Senters and his wife, Lisa Grigsby Senters of Macon. Ted is also survived by his sister, Beverly Senters, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, and has extended family in the Middlesboro area. He is pre-deceased by his son, Tom Senters. Mr. Senters was born and raised in Middlesboro, Kentucky and joined the US Air Force at age 17 to serve in the Korean War. Upon discharge, he attended and graduated from University of Tennessee with a degree in Accounting. He was a local businessman in Middle Georgia, including owner of the Incredible Chocolate Chip Cookie Co., and Treasurer of Capricorn records.
