Sylvia Wilson Kent

Sylvia Wilson Kent, 90, of Macon, GA, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023.  A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at 3 pm at High Street Unitarian Universalist Church in Macon, GA. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ernest Ezra Kent, brother, Don Wilson of Brewton, Alabama, and sister, Margret Wilson Mariani of Carmichael, California.

Sylvia is survived by her sister Peggy Wilson Shaffer; her children, Scott Williams (Peggy) of Hoover, Alabama, Rosann Kent and Frances Joy Kent of Macon; 6 grandchildren, Laura Ann Prince (Jeff Sager) of Pendergrass, Georgia, Art Prince (Candace Fielder) of Lizella Georgia, and Joseph Prince of Macon, and Anne William, Scott Milton Williams, and Evans Williams of Hoover, Alabama; great grandchildren, Ian Lukas Byers (Serena), and Lillian and Madison and Kade Prince; and her first great-great granddaughter and namesake, Anya Sylvia Byers to whom she left a note that read, “My heart is full of love for you.”
