Sydney Lou Sewell

Sydney Lou Sewell, 79, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023. Funeral services will be private.

Daughter of the late John Randolph Moore and Blanche Mogridge Moore, Sydney was born on April 13, 1944, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She worked in insurance sales and retired from Colonial Life Insurance.  Sydney loved life and lived it to its fullest. She loved her family and friends with all her heart.  She started each day with a crossword puzzle and ended it with The Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

Sydney is survived by her son, Scott Stillwell (Lisa) of Seminole, Florida; daughter, Angela Suttles (Richard) of Macon, Georgia; grandchildren: Kayla Kalyvas (Chris), Alec Stillwell, Mitchell Stillwell (Jennifer), Claude Emory “Clayton” Sewell IV, and Mason Sewell; great-grandchildren, Claude Emory “Carson” Sewell V; and sister, Angela King of Simpsonville, South Carolina.

In addition to her parents, Sydney was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Emory Sewell, Jr., and her sons, Claude Emory Sewell III, and Patrick Carter Stillwell.
