Susan Ball Tyson

Susan Ball Tyson, 63, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024. The family will greet friends from 2PM to 4PM on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Hart’s Mortuary at the Cupola.

Susan was born on July 25, 1961, in Mount Holly, New Jersey, and was a proud graduate of Georgia Tech.  She was renowned for her deep love for the Atlanta Braves; her infectious cheer could light up any room, especially during baseball season. Christmas was a magical time for Susan, as she reveled in the joy, music, and decorations that adorned every corner, filling those around her with warmth and love. Her passion for dachshunds was undeniable, as she saw in their playful and loyal nature a kindred spirit.

Susan will be lovingly remembered by her husband, John “Tee” Tyson of Macon: children, John Lewis, Richard Lewis, Christopher Lewis, Christina Agyao (Judd), and Terri Tyson; grandchildren, Madison and Aaron; mother, Barbara Ball; and siblings, Robby Ball, Lauren Rosenberger, and Jeff Ball.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Kneeland Ball, III.
