Susan Lynn Cooper

Susan Lynn Cooper, 70, of 724 Afton Court, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. The family will greet friends immediately following the funeral service at the funeral home. Susan is survived by her children, Melaney Smith (Bayne) of Athens, Georgia, Cooper Cook (Tina) of Tampa, Florida, Taylor Alexander (David) of Atlanta, Georgia; niece, Ashley Keogh (Kevin) of Richmond, Virginia; grandchildren, Janey Handy, Shelby Cook, Sydney Cook and Harper Keogh; numerous nieces and nephews; Brothers and sisters, Dennis Griffin (Dee Dee) of Green Cove Springs, Florida; Laura Brewer (Tom) of Middleburg, Florida; Robert Griffin (Suzanne) of Palatka, Florida. Susan was predeceased by her parents, James Cooper and Gladys Griffin, Stepfather, Walter Griffin, and her brother, James Cooper. Susan retired from a long career with the Medical Center of Central Georgia and was an active member of the Macon Tennis Association.
