Susan Elizabeth Doscher Chaffin

Susan Elizabeth Doscher Chaffin, age 68, of Warner Robins, GA, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, at Pine Pointe Hospice. Born on March 18, 1957, in Thomasville, GA, she was the daughter of Mildred Daisy Ann Padgett Doscher and Leroy Cecil Doscher.

Susan devoted her life to her family, friends, and community of co-workers. She married David Chaffin in 2006. In her earlier years, she married Stephen Nadel in 1976 and raised three children. As a mother, she was known for her warmth, wisdom, patience, and understanding.

Susan is survived by her three children Sarah, Jennifer, and Kenny (his wife, Amanda) with grandchildren: Mason and Gabe. She is survived by her siblings: David, Kay, and Chuck. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is survived by numerous other chosen children, including Ashley and Misty.

She worked for Tyson Foods, primarily as a customer service representative, where she touched countless lives with her dedication and kindness. Her excellence in this role was recognized often, as she routinely received awards for her outstanding performance.

Outside of work, Susan found joy in gardening, experimenting with new recipes, and traveling. Her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren. She could always be found cheering them on with pride and love.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held among family and close friends. The service is tentatively planned for March 2026 in St. Augustine, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.

Susan will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
