Susan Elaine Brooks Neesmith, 66, of Roanoke, Alabama died Sunday, April 30, 2017. Services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street, with the Reverend Jimmy Corbett and Pastor Mark Aills officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends on Friday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street. Mrs. Neesmith loved the Lord and her family. She also loved horses, all kinds of animals, and charitable organizations. Mrs. Neesmith was active in her local church. She was an amateur arborist and was interested in botany activities. Mrs. Neesmith is survived by her husband, Morris Neesmith of Roanoke, Alabama; children, Stella Kitchens (Darrell) of Jones County, Snyonder "Cindy" Lee Sullivan (Randall) of Placerville, California, Brooks Neesmith (Jessica) of Macon; mother, Inez Brooks of Roanoke, Alabama; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Dawn Neal of Lizella; several nieces and nephews.
