Sue Mosely

September 5, 1929 — February 6, 2014

Annie Mae Clark Mosely, affectionately known as "Sue", peacefully left this world on Thursday, February 6, 2014 to join her beloved husband of forty-three years, William H. Mosely, Sr., in singing praises to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born September 5, 1929 and lived all of her 84 years in Macon, Georgia, residing at 7046 Sofkee Place for almost fifty years. She married her high school sweetheart and together made a loving home for seven children, enduring the heartache of the loss of one, Timothy, at 4 years of age. She and "Billy" lived a modest life, supporting themselves through Billy's career at the Paper Mill and many long evenings and weekends working in the "tater" fields. Mrs. Mosely is survived by two sisters, Francis (Frank) Hough and Margie Drawhorn, both of Macon; six children, William H. (Suzy) Mosely, Jr. of Byron, Georgia, David Mosely of Macon, Danny (Mae) Mosely of Loganville, Georgia, Deborah (Thomas) Poole of Macon, Ben (Tina) Mosely of Macon and Becky (Johnny) Poole of Decatur, Georgia; twenty-six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 2:00PM at Mosely Family Cemetery with the Reverend Danny Mosely officiating. The family may be contacted at the residence and will greet friends on Saturday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Register online at www.hartsmort.com. Hart's Mortuary and Crematory, Cherry Street, has charge of arrangements.
