Sue Manning Cannon

Sue Manning Cannon, 95, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11:00 am, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road, Macon, Georgia 31216.

Sue was born in Cochran, Georgia on March 18, 1931, to the late James Manning and Rilla Harrell Manning. She was a faithful member of Daystar Church of God and devoted much of her life to her career in banking, serving the Middle Georgia community with dedication for over 68 years.

Sue is survived by her children; Neil Cannon of Macon, Randy Cannon (Nancy) of Bolingbroke, and Melody Hamm (James Whaley) of Macon; her two granddaughters, Danielle Gordon (Jamie) of Gray, and Suzanne Smith (Ronnie) of Macon; and her three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gordon, Megan Gordon, and Madison Gordon.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, George Cannon; brothers, James Manning and Harold Manning; and grandson, Mack Cannon.
