Sue Wood Bryant

Sue Wood Bryant, 91, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Northway Church with the Reverend Kevin Mills officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. A private service will follow the service at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Daughter of the late Willie D. and Omie Wood, Sue was born in Wrightsville, Georgia on October 2, 1934. Sue attended Miller High School and worked at Robins Air Force Base for 32 years. Sue was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was also a devoted member of Northway Church in Macon. Sue enjoyed reading, traveling, and working in her flower garden, but what brought her the most enjoyment in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sue will be lovingly remembered by her husband of fifty-three years, Sid Bryant; her daughters, Pam Bryan and Donna Sanders (Philip), both of Macon; her grandchildren, Lori Hatcher (Chris), Chris Bryan, and Haley Lee (Jamey); her great-grandchildren, Ty Hatcher, Alli Bryan, Talley Hatcher, Timber Lee, and Kinsey Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie D. and Omie Wood; her siblings, W.D. Wood, Cecil Wood, Jack Wood, and Lollie Wilkinson; and son-in-law, Bruce Bryan.
