Ellijay, GA- Stark Reddick Buckner, IV, died Friday, October 23, 2009. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. JoAnn Evans and Mona Beavers will officiate. Born October 10, 1950, Mr. Buckner had worked in wood procurement with the Louisiana Pacific Corporation in Conroe, Texas and had served as Assistant Director of Promise Land Ministries in Ellijay, GA. He was predeceased by his father, Stark Reddick Buckner, III. Mr. Buckner is survived by his son, Stark Reddick Buckner V "Duffy" (Amy) of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Brooks Lee Buckner of Fayetteville, Georgia; grandsons, Gabriel Buckner and Nolan Buckner; granddaughter, Alena Zavodny; mother and step-father, Martha Buckner Ellis and Sinclair G. Ellis of Macon; brother, Michael Anderson Buckner (Sharlett) of Humble, Texas; sister, Kathleen Buckner McGraw (Jack) of Macon, Georgia.
