Macon-Stanley Vernon Stater died Thursday, December 17, 2009. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Wadley Family Cemetery in Bolingbroke, GA. with the Reverend Jay Harris officiating. Mr. Stater,92, was a member of Martha Bowman United Methodist Church. He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force where he served as a pilot for 23 years. He was also retired from the Bibb County Board of Education where he served as director of CETA Work Experience Program. Survivors include his son, Stanley V. Stater, Jr. of Marietta, GA; daughter, Lisa Stater Buck of Suwanee, GA; daughter, Mardee Stater of Macon, GA; grandson, Stanley Stater, III of Marietta, GA. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
