Stacey Wayne Meeks

Stacey Wayne Meeks, 75, of Macon, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020.  Funeral services will be held Monday, January 20, 2020 at 11:00AM at Hart’s Chapel of the Cupola.  Visitation will be Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at Hart’s at the Cupola.  Burial will be private at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital, Navicent Health, 888 Pine Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.

Wayne was born June 29, 1944 to the late Stacy Delman and Mary Lee Meeks.  He was a salesman of industrial saw blades for the North American Cutting Tools.  He worked on the Alaskan Pipeline and was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam era.  A fun-loving guy and great father, Wayne was also an artist.  He enjoyed dancing and horseback riding, but his passions were riding motorcycles, playing golf, and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Wayne is predeceased by his brother, Thad Meeks, and his grandson, Carter Wayne Meeks.

Wayne is survived by his sons, Kevin Meeks (Jamy) of Haddock, Georgia and Jamie Meeks (Natalie Hicks) of Macon; daughter, Staci Meeks (Steven Register) of Duluth, Georgia; 3 grandchildren, Cole Marsh, Rylee Meeks, and Clipton Meeks; 2 sisters, Jackie Lenderman (Raymond) and Judith Dominy (Jimmy), both of Macon; and many nieces and nephews.
