Spencer Maddox Cork

Spencer Maddox Cork, 87, died on October 7, 2010. A memorial gathering will be held in the Belle Meade Building at John Wesley Villas at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 12, 2010. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that those so inclined make contributions to the charity of the donor's choice. Born in Macon, Georgia on June 23, 1923, Spencer was the son of Charles Daniel Spencer Cork and Hattie Madden Cork. A retired electronic engineer, he was a graduate of Lanier High School and the Georgia Institute of Technology. Spencer was a wonderful man, and his witty humor and thoughtfulness were enjoyed by friends and family. Pre-deceased by his brother, Charles M. Cork, Sr., and his sister, Harriet H. Cork, he is survived by his nephew, Charles M. Cork, Jr., and his numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
